Rachel - Kelowna
I came to therapy feeling completely overwhelmed by my anxiety. Simple tasks felt impossible, and I was constantly in a state of worry. My therapist was incredibly understanding and created a safe space for me to talk openly about my fears. Through various techniques, including breathing exercises and cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), I learned how to challenge my anxious thoughts and manage my stress. Slowly, I started to feel like myself again. I'm now able to handle situations that once felt insurmountable, and I feel so much more in control of my life. I can't thank my therapist enough for the support and guidance they gave me. If you're struggling with anxiety, I highly recommend seeking help—it's a game-changer."
Kieran - West Kelowna
"When I first sought therapy, I was dealing with deep depression. I felt like I was living in a fog and just going through the motions of life without any joy. My therapist helped me break down the barriers that were keeping me stuck in that dark place. Through therapy, I gained insights into my patterns of thinking and how they affected my mood. The tools I learned to shift my perspective and deal with negative emotions have been life-changing. I now feel more hopeful, and while I still have my down days, I no longer feel like I’m sinking. It’s a slow process, but I’ve come so far, and I’m proud of the progress I’ve made. I feel like I have the tools to continue moving forward and living a more fulfilling life."
Mandy - West Kelowna
"Work had been so stressful for me that it felt like it was bleeding into every part of my life. I was constantly anxious, overwhelmed, and felt like I was failing. I decided to seek therapy to help me navigate the stress and pressure. My counsellor helped me understand that I wasn’t alone in feeling burnt out and gave me strategies to set boundaries, prioritize tasks, and manage my time better. Learning mindfulness techniques helped me stay calm in stressful situations. I now feel empowered and in control, both at work and at home. The tools I’ve gained have made a huge difference in my daily life, and I’m so grateful for the guidance and support. Therapy gave me back my confidence and allowed me to reclaim a sense of balance."
