For Registered Social Workers exclude GST (RSW)

$140.00/50-minute session – Individual Counselling Sessions

$155/00/50-minute session – Couples/ Family Counselling Sessions

INSURANCE —

• Some Health Insurance is Accepted for specific Counsellors but not all. Please inquire with our administrative staff to see who is covered and check with your insurance benefit plan administrator.

We do direct bill to some insurance plans but not all. You may be responsible for any out-of-pocket expenses your insurance benefits don’t cover.

Please check with your insurance provider about your coverage by asking the following questions:

• What type of counsellor is covered under my health care plan? ie. Registered Social Worker, Registered Clinical Counsellor or Certified Canadian Counsellor.
• Is there a deductible I need to meet before you will start to reimburse me?
• How many sessions per year does my health insurance cover?
• What percentage of the fee do you cover?

PAYMENT —

E-transfers and all major credit cards are accepted for payment.

CANCELLATION POLICY —

We require at least 24 hours advance notice or you will be required to pay 75% of the full cost of the session. 

TELETHERAPY —

Our therapists offer both in-person and virtual sessions for all residents. Our OVCS Counsellors offer in-person and virtual sessions regardless of your location. We use a secure HIPAA platform (JANE app) to conduct these video sessions which you can access on your computer, tablet, or phone.
