About Christina
She also is an esteemed member of the British Columbia College of Social Workers (BCCSW) and the British Columbia Associate of Social Workers (BCASW). Prior to that she was a member of the Saskatchewan Association of Social Workers (SASW), a Commissioner of Oaths for 5yrs, and practiced in the Regina, Saskatchewan area in Private Practice, within Canadian Mental Health Association, and within the Regina Qu’Appelle Health Region, and in the local Family Service Regina Counselling Services Agency as a Co-Facilitator and Counsellor.
In addition to her research and writing, Christina is the Co-Owner and Director of Orchard Valley Counselling Services – an organization that brings evidence-based practice (EBP) which combines well-researched interventions with clinical experience and ethics, and client preferences and culture to guide and inform the delivery of treatments and services. Using strategies that empower individuals, couples, groups and the business community.
Her interests vary from writing articles about mental health, to reading true crime novels, quading on the country-side, to attending hot yoga. Christina currently lives in West Kelowna, British Columbia with her boyfriend Darren, and their blended family.
